Macys Insite is a web portal incorporated for the employees exclusively working at Bloomingdale and Macy’s providing all the employee HCM features. The employees can access and manage tasks like viewing payslips, managing schedules directly through the portal, etc. All this can be done through my insite. The retired employees of these two companies can also access the macys insite even after leaving their jobs. Every employee is assigned a unique employee id and password through which they can sign-in to the insite macys. This means that the employees who are not a part of the Macy’s employment program and unauthorized users are not allowed to access the information and cannot even get past through the sign-in page. This ensures that the data of every employee whether they are currently working in the company or not is safe and nobody can leak it for their own advantage.
Macys Insite Requirements for the Sign-up
If an employee wants to open their account, there are certain requirements or obligations which they need to fulfill in order to join my insite.
An electronic device such as a tablet, mobile phone, computer, laptop, etc. is necessary because macys insite is an online portal and needs to be accessed through the internet and it is the second important requirement for the sign-up. Macys Insites Registration/Login
- Visit the official macys insite webpage through https://hr.macys.net/insite/common/logon.aspx.
- Then the webpage will ask the user whether he/she is the current employee or an ex-employee of the company and he/she has to choose the appropriate option to log in.
- After clicking on the appropriate option, the user will need to put in his/her Employee ID and the Network Password.
- If the user is new to my insite macys he/she will need to click on the link “Forgot/Unlock/Change Password”. Afterward, the page will ask for the last 4 digits of the Social Security Number or SSN and the Employee ID. Then a CAPTCHA will appear which the user needs to fill to prove that he/she is a human and not a robot. This is important so that no person deploys robots which will try to steal the information by logging in illegally.
- A page full of instructions will appear on the screen which the user needs to read thoroughly. The user will help him/her to unlock the temporary security password which is assigned to them. If someone has forgotten their password, they can select the option saying forgot password.
- Then, the registration or forgot password process will be finished and a login webpage will be opened asking for the Employee ID and the password. The users can then login on https://hr.macys.net/insite/common/logon.aspx after the registration process.
- The user needs to click on the sign-in option and visit the home page after that.
- At last, the webpage will ask for the Employee ID and Network Password. After filling the correct data, the user can access his/her macys insite account

The online members or users of Macy’s Insite get several benefits for being an employee and a part of the macys insite. They get some exclusive retirement plans such as social security. Medical facilities are also necessary for everyone nowadays so the members get the required medical assistance for them.
The employees who are studying in a high school are also given some exclusive scholarship plans to support their studies. Employee assistance is also an important benefit provided to them.

Macy’s Employee Benefits
There are several benefits which employees working at Macy’s enjoy. It provides students with several scholarship plans and offers. Children who are working at the Macys as an employee or are kids of the employees working at the company gets the chance to be a part of the Macy’s, Inc. sponsored scholarship program whether the employees are a part-time worker or a full-time worker. The National Merit Scholarship Organization administrates these scholarship programs.

It provides all the necessary links to the employee benefits, forms for tax fillings and charitable givings, areas related to the community, paycheck, bill payments, and taxes.
The communications section on the employee connection website provides the links which the employees can access to keep up with the latest news and information.
Colleague/Former Colleague Sign-in
The employees currently working and employees who previously worked with the Macys and Bloomingdales can sign in to the my insite. Every employee will get the benefits and services equally as any other employee. Every employee requires a unique Employee ID and the Network Password to sign in to myinsite.
Managing Weekly Schedule
After signing in to the macys insite the users need to press the F11 button from the main menu. Then the users can tab over MSP MY Day to highlight it. Then the user needs to press enter. After that, the main site will be opened and it will ask for the Employee ID and Network Password. The schedule of the employee will appear under the tools of self-service. The report icon has to be selected in order to view the Area Schedule. The users can press F11 once the user is done and has logged out from the account.
Modify a Shift
The shift can be modified within 120 minutes from the start of the shift through macys insite. Then, the employee has to select the drop-down option to view the displayed options. He/she can choose from the available starting options and click on it.
In order to check the completion of work, the employee needs to select the pickup modifies shift option and it will add the selected schedule when the employee is done.

There are certain links already made available on the employee connection like Annual Report or the factbook, all the linked company web sites that are currently active on the Internet, News releases, some Emergency links to get in contact, etc.
If the user wants to learn more, there is a resource tab available on the Macy’s insite connection that will let the user know more in detail about the bill payments, paychecks, taxes, and more importantly about the community. This is the main tab of the homepage that lets the user know more about the paychecks and all stuff.
myinsites only lets the current employees and also the former employee’s login through the online portal. There are two different options available one is for the current employee and the other is for the former employee, also as the website mentions this is an HR portal and there are two options available namely MyHR and the AskHR
To log into the myinsite, the user simply needs a username, a password, and email address, and a phone number. The email address and the phone number are required to get the code you will receive while trying to log in and that will a unique code every time and only valid for a limited time. There is also a condition that the number should of the country code +1 which means the number should only be of America and no other country

To login to the myinsite, there are some things required, a valid username, a valid password, and the correct code. If provided the correct tokens, it will validate otherwise it will be a failed attempt.
